bookish fundraisers
I’ll keep it brief, but I wanted to send this out to highlight a few bookish fundraisers for Minnesota happening this week!
Publishing for Minnesota runs through 11:45 PM EST TONIGHT (1/30). At the time I’m typing this, they’ve raised nearly $150,000!
Romance for Minnesota runs through EOD tomorrow (1/31), and has currently raised $19,000!
There are incredible auction items up on both of these sites!!
I missed out on contributing to these these first two wonderful fundraisers, but (spoiler alert!) I will be donating one of the first ARCs of Now That We Don’t Talk to Press the Patriarchy’s auction in March. Much more info to come from them on many great items!
A group of us 2026 Romance Debuts are also hosting a giveaway I wanted to provide a bit of info on. If you donate to the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund by 11:59pm PST on Monday, February 2nd and provide proof of donation, you can be entered to win a batch of sixteen 2026 debut romance novels! We’re doing it raffle style, so every $10 donated is one entry, but multiple entries are welcome! Simply screenshot your donation (personal info redacted please) and submit here. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, February 3rd.
I’m also hosting one small giveaway myself as well. If you provide proof of donation to a mutual aid organization (any amount), you can enter to win a 30-minute video call with me. We can discuss publishing/querying/sub (my debut comes out this year from Berkley), writing for TV/screenwriting (I have a decade of experience working in the writers’ room on a dozen seasons of TV), Heated Rivalry, Pacey Witter, books, or whatever else your generous mutual aid loving heart desires! This form will be open until Wednesday, February 4th, at 6pm PST.
